Wyre Forest District Council – Graffiti Removal
Wyre Response was commissioned by Wyre Forest District Council to remove graffiti from public seating within Brintons Park, Kidderminster. As the affected assets were located within a busy public park, the work needed to be completed safely, efficiently and with consideration for both the underlying surfaces and the surrounding environment.
Following an assessment of the affected areas, our Environmental Services team used specialist graffiti-removal products and appropriate agitation techniques, allowing the required dwell time before removing the contamination. Care was taken to minimise damage to the surface and control cleaning residues throughout the work. The treatment successfully removed the graffiti and significantly improved the appearance of the benches, with only minor historic ghosting remaining within the substrate.
The completed work was accepted by the council and demonstrated Wyre Response’s ability to provide a professional, responsive graffiti-removal service for local authorities and public-sector organisations. We are equipped to support councils, facilities teams, property managers and businesses with graffiti removal, needle and sharps sweeps, environmental cleaning and other specialist response services across the region.
