Exterior Cleaning Association Approved Member
Creating an Inclusive Business.
Wyre Response is proud to be an Approved Member of the Exterior Cleaning Association (ECA), demonstrating our commitment to safe working practices, professional standards and responsible exterior cleaning.
Becoming an Approved Member involved submitting our business documentation, procedures and compliance information for assessment by the Association. Following this review, Wyre Response was formally accepted as an ECA Approved Member.
What Our Approved Membership Means
ECA approval is not simply a logo or one-off achievement. Approved Members are expected to continue meeting the Association’s standards and uphold the ECA Code of Conduct throughout their membership.
As part of this commitment, Wyre Response is required to:
- Maintain detailed chemical purchase records.
- Keep appropriate PPE inspection and replacement records.
- Use correctly labelled and authorised cleaning products.
- Follow product labels, safety data sheets and application instructions.
- Maintain safe systems of work and suitable risk assessments.
- Operate responsibly around customers, property and the environment.
- Continually uphold the professional standards expected by the ECA.
The Association maintains strict compliance requirements. The misuse of chemicals, including the use of unauthorised biocides or products outside their labelled conditions, may result in membership being revoked.
Responsible Chemical Use
Exterior cleaning can involve specialist detergents, biocides and surface treatments. These products must be selected, stored and used correctly.
Wyre Response follows product guidance, COSHH information and relevant safety procedures when using chemicals. We also consider the surrounding environment, surface condition, drainage, public access and the presence of children, pets or vulnerable people before work begins.
Where chemicals are not required, we will use an appropriate alternative cleaning method wherever practical.
